Primary Role and Responsibilities
Seeking a dedicated PRT (Pupil Teacher) for Environmental Studies (Evs) at Narayana Educational Institute in Udaipur. This position requires someone passionate about shaping young minds through hands-on environmental education. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring students grasp concepts like ecology, sustainability, and conservation in a practical way.
Your daily tasks include planning interactive classroom activities, coordinating field trips, and maintaining a safe, eco-friendly learning environment. Collaboration with other teachers and school management will be essential to align Evs curriculum with broader educational goals.
Key Duties
Teach Environmental Studies to students, incorporating real-world examples and experiential learning.
Develop lesson plans that balance theoretical knowledge with practical applications, such as waste management or renewable energy.
Assist in organizing school events like science fairs, tree-planting drives, and awareness campaigns.
Ensure compliance with school policies while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on science or environmental studies, though a relevant graduate degree will be considered. A strong foundation in science subjects is mandatory, as Evs often builds on physics, biology, and chemistry knowledge.
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role. Your ability to connect with students and foster curiosity about the environment will be highly valued.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with other benefits. This position is based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and offers a full-time commitment to the school’s mission.
