A One Senior Secondary School | Udaipur is seeking an experienced TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join the Sanskrit department in the vibrant town of Girwa, Udaipur. This role is ideal for someone passionate about nurturing students’ cultural and linguistic roots through classical Sanskrit education. The TGT Sanskrit Teacher will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students in Classes IX to XII, ensuring a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Daily classroom instruction will include grammar, composition, and translation exercises, aligned with school curriculum standards. The teacher must engage students effectively, fostering a deep appreciation for Sanskrit’s role in Indian philosophy and literature.
Assessment of students will involve regular homework, quizzes, and project-based evaluations. The teacher should also prepare lesson plans that incorporate local cultural references, such as Rajasthan’s traditional art forms, to make learning relatable. Parent-teacher interactions will be minimal but important, particularly for students with strong academic interests in Sanskrit.
Department coordination will be limited but may include collaborating with other humanities teachers to integrate Sanskrit themes across subjects like history or social science. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Sanskrit grammar, an ability to simplify complex concepts for students, and a genuine enthusiasm for preserving India’s linguistic legacy.
Qualifications for this TGT Sanskrit Teacher position include a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school setting, will be highly beneficial.
