About This Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated TGT Hindi Teacher to join our faculty at Delhi Public School in Gangtok, Sikkim. As a key member of our Hindi department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Hindi language and literature to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan extracurricular activities and events
- Conduct remedial classes for students who require additional support
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
- Engage with parents through regular meetings and updates
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 3 years of experience in teaching Hindi at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the Sikkim Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the candidate will be entitled to benefits such as medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and pension scheme, as per the school's policies.
