Classroom Profile
Our physical education classroom is a vibrant and inclusive space where students from various learning levels come together to learn and grow. As a TGT Physical Education Teacher, you will be working with students from grades 1 to 10, catering to diverse learning needs and abilities. You will be based in Gangtok, Sikkim, and will be part of a dynamic team of educators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of their students.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement engaging physical education lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that promote active participation and social interaction among students
- Provide individualized support and accommodations for students with special needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote physical education and wellness
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to meet the needs of all learners
- Develop and implement assessment tools that measure student progress and understanding
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and achievements
- Participate in school-wide professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes physical activity and well-being
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field, and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. You must have at least 3 years of teaching experience in physical education, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction and promoting student engagement and motivation.

Salary and Benefits
