Job Description
Post: Primary Room Teacher (PRT) – EVS at Nehru International School, Madukkari
Teaching EVS (Environmental Studies) to students in Class I to V at Nehru International School in Madukkari, Coimbatore. This role focuses on delivering hands-on, experiential learning in environmental awareness, sustainability, and basic scientific concepts.
You will prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring EVS topics like ecosystems, pollution, and conservation are taught through interactive methods. Classroom demonstrations, field trips, and simple experiments will be key parts of your daily work.
Collaborate with the subject coordinator to integrate EVS into cross-curricular activities, such as storytelling, art projects, and seasonal events. Maintain organized classroom resources, including books, posters, and outdoor learning materials.
Ensure compliance with school safety protocols while conducting outdoor activities. Work closely with the principal and staff to adapt teaching methods for diverse student needs.
Qualifications: A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. Two years of teaching experience in EVS or related subjects is required. Salary offered is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month.
