About Kongu National Matriculation Higher Secondary School | Erode

Welcome to Kongu National Matriculation Higher Secondary School, nestled in the quiet neighbourhood of Nanjanapuram on the outskirts of Erode, just a stone’s throw from the Kongu Arts and Science College campus. Since opening our doors in 2002, we have grown into a co‑educational community that welcomes children from the earliest pre‑KG days right through to the senior secondary classes. The campus feels safe and well‑ordered, and the surrounding town offers a pleasant mix of the familiar and the dynamic, making it easy for families to settle in and for staff to feel at home.

Our students are curious, driven and diverse, ranging from bright little ones just learning to read to teenagers preparing for their board examinations. We run a student‑centred curriculum that pushes for depth in the classroom while also giving plenty of room for hands‑on work in our smart rooms, well‑equipped labs and digital literacy programmes. The results speak for themselves – we have enjoyed a perfect record in board exams year after year – but what matters most to us is the everyday enthusiasm we see when a concept clicks or a project comes together. Activities such as NCC Air Wing, sports, and a variety of clubs keep the learning vibrant and give students a chance to lead, experiment and discover beyond the textbooks.

For a teacher, that environment translates into a place where you can try new ideas without losing the support of a disciplined, collaborative staff. You’ll find colleagues who respect each other’s expertise, administrators who back professional growth, and a student body that responds to genuine engagement. The blend of modern facilities, a clear focus on academic excellence and a community that values both responsibility and creativity makes Kongu National a rewarding place to teach, grow and make a lasting impact.
