Organize field trips and outdoor learning sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed while maximizing student engagement.
Teach foundational concepts in environmental studies, including climate change, pollution, and renewable energy, using age-appropriate methods. Maintain detailed records of student progress in environmental awareness and participation in school initiatives. Work closely with parents and administrators to promote environmental consciousness beyond the classroom, such as organizing parent-teacher meetings on sustainability topics.
Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a background in science or environmental studies. A graduate degree in environmental science, biology, or related fields is a strong advantage. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory for this role. Strong communication skills, adaptability to diverse student needs, and a passion for experiential learning are essential.
Compensation
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.16,000 to Rs.38,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
