4. Conduct demonstrations with seeds, plants, maps, and recycled materials.

6. Assess students informally through observations, drawings, and short quizzes.
7. Maintain student portfolios with artwork and activity sheets.
8. Communicate weekly with parents about children’s progress in Evs.
9. Participate in monthly teacher meetings and school events.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institute
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary Evs
- Fluency in Tamil and English; basic knowledge of Kannada is helpful
- Ability to create low-cost teaching aids using local materials
Good to Have
- M.A. or M.Sc in Environmental Science or Geography
- Experience with interactive smart boards in classroom
- Participation in local science fairs or eco-club activities
- Exposure to Tamil Nadu State Board curriculum
