7. Maintain records of student attendance and performance.
8. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
9. Contribute to school cultural programs and competitions.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Tamil (M.A. Tamil) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or M.Ed with Tamil specialization.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching Tamil at senior secondary level.
- Fluency in Tamil and English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
Good to Have
- NET/SET qualified in Tamil.
- Experience with digital teaching tools and e-learning platforms.
- Participation in Tamil language workshops or seminars.
- Knowledge of classical Tamil literature and modern pedagogy.
- Previous experience in a CBSE or Matriculation school.
