Position Overview
Our school in a Tier 4 area seeks an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher to join our Biology department. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your Responsibilities
As a PGT Biology teacher, you will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching Biology to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans and materials
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of student grades and attendance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences and communicating with parents
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching and learning
- Providing additional support to students who require it
- Participating in school events and activities

3. Attend parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents

5. Participate in school events and activities
