About This Role
Wonder School in Tiruneveli, Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu invites applications for a full-time PGT Tamil Teacher position. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Tamil Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Tamil to students from Class 6 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Tamil to students from Class 6 to 12.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans and assessments.
3. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
4. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessments.
6. Participate in school events and activities.
7. Develop and implement classroom management strategies.
8. Communicate with parents and students regarding student progress.
9. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Post Graduate degree in Tamil from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Tamil or related subject.
- 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- TET or CTET certification (not mandatory).
Good to Have:
- Master's degree in Tamil with specialization in a specific area (e.g., literature, linguistics).
- Experience teaching Tamil as a second language or to non-native speakers.
- Knowledge of curriculum design and development.
