5. Develop and implement cost-saving measures to optimize school finances.
6. Process payroll and benefits for school staff.
7. Manage school assets, including fixed deposits and investments.
8. Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents to relevant authorities.
9. Provide financial guidance to school administrators and staff.
Eligibility
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Commerce, Accountancy, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a school or educational institution
- Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
- B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or M.Ed degree
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of GST and other tax laws
- Familiarity with school management software
Preferred Skills
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
