Geetanjali Olympiad School opened its doors in 2004, a modest start that has grown into a familiar part of the neighbourhoods of Khairatabad and Vivekananda Nagar in Kukatpally. Founded by Mr P Srinivas Rao under the Sri Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society, the school began with just a handful of classrooms and a simple promise: to give children a solid grounding in the CBSE syllabus while gently introducing them to the kind of thinking required for Olympiad competitions. Over the years, families from the surrounding streets have watched the school expand, adding a primary wing and a high‑school block, yet the sense that we are still the same community‑focused place remains strong.
Our values are rooted in respect for each child’s curiosity and a belief that learning works best when it is linked to the world around us. We encourage students to ask questions, to test ideas, and to see mistakes as stepping stones rather than setbacks. The Olympiad foundation programme, especially from grades six to ten, is built around conceptual lessons that aim to sharpen analytical skills without turning the classroom into a race. Teachers work closely with parents, sharing progress in informal meetings that often take place over a cup of chai at the school’s small courtyard, because we see education as a partnership rather than a one‑way lecture.
A typical day at Geetanjali feels lively yet focused. Children arrive early, greet each other in Telugu and English, and settle into lessons that blend textbook
