Conduct assessments through quizzes, oral tests, and simple written exercises. Organize storytelling sessions and recitation activities to improve pronunciation. Monitor student progress and provide individual feedback to parents during PTMs. Collaborate with other teachers to align English lessons with school events and themes. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, encouraging learning space.
Subject-specific qualifications and expertise
Graduation in English or related field is essential. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for this position. TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Prior experience in early childhood English teaching is beneficial. Familiarity with phonics-based teaching methods is an added advantage.
