Role Summary
The Lab Assistant Vacancy in Hyderabad we are looking to fill is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school laboratory, providing technical support to students and staff, and contributing to the overall development of our school community.
What You Will Do
As a Lab Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the laboratory equipment and supplies, and performing routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Providing technical support to students and staff, and assisting with experiments and projects
- Developing and implementing laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to integrate laboratory activities into the curriculum
- Supporting students with special needs in the laboratory setting
- Participating in school events and activities, such as science fairs and open houses
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of laboratory activities and experiments
- Assisting with inventory management and procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you should possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as science or engineering. You should also have at least 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in an educational institution. Additionally, you should be familiar with laboratory safety protocols and procedures, and be able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.20,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, commensurate with experience. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including paid leave, medical insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
