Implement a digital cataloging system to streamline book tracking and reduce manual errors in inventory management. Ensure timely procurement of new titles based on subject demands from teachers and student requests. Coordinate with Ravindra Bharathi School management on annual library budget and expenditure approvals.
Conduct orientation sessions for new students and parents on library rules, membership, and digital access. Monitor overdue returns and apply late fee policies consistently across all classes. Prepare quarterly reports on library usage statistics and suggest improvements to enhance engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Library Science or related field from a recognized university. Minimum two years of experience as a librarian in a school or educational institution is required. Familiarity with KOHA or similar library management software is preferred but not mandatory.
