Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE Chemistry syllabus for Classes 9 and 10.
Conduct interactive demonstrations using locally available materials to explain chemical reactions.
Grade notebooks and assignments weekly and provide feedback to students.
Organize monthly chemistry quizzes and lab-based activities.
Collaborate with the science department to plan annual practical exams.
Attend weekly subject meetings to align teaching strategies.
Maintain lab safety records and inventory of chemicals.
Communicate progress to parents through bi-weekly progress sheets.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Three years of full-time Chemistry teaching experience in grades 9–10.
Good to Have
TET or CTET certification.
Experience with CBSE curriculum implementation.
Familiarity with digital tools like Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams.
