- Prepare students for school concerts, inter‑school competitions, and cultural events, coordinating rehearsals and stage presentations.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, recitals, and project work, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers to incorporate music into interdisciplinary projects and school festivals.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance data.
- Stay updated with contemporary music education trends and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Music or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven knowledge of Indian classical, folk, and contemporary music styles.
- Familiarity with music software and digital teaching tools is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct group and individual lessons, organize performances, and manage classroom dynamics.
Salary
The remuneration package ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.38,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
