Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate Physical Education lessons for classes 6 to 10 at Narayana Co School, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines.
Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor sports activities including athletics, yoga, and team games like cricket, football, and basketball.
Conduct regular fitness assessments and maintain records of student performance in physical activities.
Coordinate with class teachers to integrate physical fitness into overall student development plans.
Prepare students for inter-school and intra-school sports competitions organized at Narayana Co School.
Collaborate with the sports committee to manage equipment and facility usage efficiently.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school’s holistic health and wellness initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education, M.Sc in Sports Science, or M.A in Physical Education from a recognized university.
B.Ed or M.Ed with specialization in Physical Education.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as a Physical Education Teacher in a school setting.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns in Physical Education for classes 6 to 10.
Strong communication skills in English and Telugu to interact with students and parents in Himayatnagar.
