What You Will Do
- Teach physics to Classes VI to X, utilizing a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on experiments
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate technology, such as online simulations and videos, to enhance student understanding of physics concepts
- Utilize Google Classroom to share resources, assignments, and feedback with students
- Create interactive multimedia presentations using smart boards to engage students and facilitate learning
- Use online platforms to facilitate online discussions and assessments
- Develop and administer quizzes and tests to evaluate student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's physics curriculum
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest developments in physics education
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science fairs and quizzes, to promote student engagement and interest in physics
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Physics or related subject from a recognized university
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Experience of teaching physics to Classes VI to X in a recognized school
- Strong knowledge of physics concepts and ability to communicate them effectively to students
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, such as Google Classroom and smart boards
