Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Post Graduate Teacher Economics to join our team of dedicated educators at our General School located in Tier 4. The ideal candidate will possess a post graduate qualification in Economics and have at least 3 years of experience in teaching.
Primary Duties:
1. Teach Economics and related subjects to students at post graduate level in accordance with the approved curriculum and syllabus.
2. Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students with varying learning abilities and needs.
3. Assess, record, and report on student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students.
4. Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work that meet the needs of students.
5. Stay up to date with curriculum developments and changes in the subject area, and incorporate these into teaching practices.
6. Provide pastoral care and support to students, and liaise with parents and other teachers as necessary.
7. Participate in school events, and contribute to the development of the school's policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum:
- Post graduate qualification in Economics or a related subject.
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching Economics at post graduate level.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred:
- Experience of teaching in a General School setting.
- Knowledge of curriculum developments and changes in the subject area.
- Experience of assessing and recording student progress.

Salary and Compensation:
- Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
