Position Overview

We are looking for a tech-savvy TGT Social Science Teacher who can transform traditional history, geography, and political science lessons into immersive digital experiences. The candidate must hold a Post Graduate degree and possess at least 1 year of teaching experience. Since we prioritize digital proficiency and subject expertise, TET is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
Your Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans for Social Science for middle and secondary grades.
Curate digital content and multimedia resources to supplement textbook materials.
Manage student data and academic progress through our central Learning Management System.
Facilitate virtual field trips and interactive historical reenactments using online platforms.
Conduct online assessments and provide data-driven feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with the academic team to develop a localized digital curriculum.
Performance Expectations
Teachers are expected to maintain high engagement levels through interactive polls and digital participation tracking.
You will be evaluated on your ability to integrate a variety of EdTech tools into the monthly curriculum.
We expect a measurable improvement in student digital literacy and research skills over the academic year.
Regular participation in professional development webinars is required to stay updated on educational technology trends.
Teaching Methodology (Digital tools and platforms)
We utilize a blended learning approach that combines traditional logic with modern delivery. You will be expected to master Google Classroom for assignment management and Microsoft Teams for synchronous instruction. The use of digital mapping tools like Google Earth and interactive timelines is central to our social science delivery model.
Pedagogy Style (Specific software/tools)
Our pedagogy revolves around project-based and visual learning. You will use tools such as Canva for student-led presentations, Kahoot or Quizziz for gamified assessments, and YouTube Edu for curated visual storytelling. We encourage the use of virtual reality apps to help students explore geographical landscapes and historical sites from the classroom.

Compensation Details
We offer a competitive salary package that exceeds regional benchmarks for Tier 4 locations. Compensation includes a base salary plus a dedicated tech implementation allowance for teachers who successfully integrate innovative digital modules into their teaching.
