Job Title: Admission Counsellor - Non Teaching Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Admission Counsellor to join our team at a premium school located in a Tier 3 city. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional guidance and support to students and their families throughout the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert guidance to students and their families on the admissions process and requirements for various educational institutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective parents to promote the school's mission and values
- Conduct tours and presentations of the school to prospective parents and students
- Manage and coordinate the admissions process, including scheduling appointments, conducting assessments, and processing applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student and parent interactions, applications, and outcomes

Career Growth (Detailed Career Path)

- With 1-3 years of experience, you can progress to a Senior Admission Counsellor role, overseeing a team of Admission Counsellors and contributing to the development of admissions strategies
- After 3-5 years, you can take on a leadership role as an Assistant Director of Admissions, overseeing the entire admissions process and leading a team of Admission Counsellors
- With 5-7 years of experience, you can progress to a Director of Admissions role, responsible for developing and implementing admissions strategies, managing a team of Admission Counsellors, and making key decisions on admissions policy

- As an Admission Counsellor, you will be expected to adopt a student-centred approach, focusing on the needs and aspirations of each student
- You will work closely with teachers and other members of the admissions team to ensure a smooth and effective admissions process
