About This Role
Ravindra Bharti School is looking for an experienced Special Educator to join its inclusive education team in Samshabad, Ranga Reddy. This is a full-time administrative leadership role focused on designing and overseeing programs for children with diverse learning needs. The position requires strong collaboration with school coordinators, parents, and local therapists to implement individualized education plans.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs in coordination with parents and therapists.
2. Conduct regular assessments to track progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
3. Organize and supervise resource rooms equipped with adaptive learning tools and assistive technologies.
4. Train classroom assistants and support staff in implementing inclusion strategies and behavior management techniques.
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and resource utilization for school leadership reviews.
6. Liaise with external agencies, such as NGOs and government bodies, for funding support and resource sharing.
7. Conduct parent awareness sessions on special education rights and early intervention benefits.
8. Ensure compliance with RTE Act and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan guidelines for inclusive education in Telangana.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Spl. Ed.) or Master’s in Special Education (M.Ed. Spl. Ed.) from a recognized institution. Minimum 3 years of experience in special education, preferably in a school setting in Ranga Reddy or Hyderabad region. Proficiency in using assistive software, data tracking tools, and basic MS Office applications is essential.
