City International School Juniors invites qualified candidates for the PRT Evs Teacher position. This role focuses on delivering engaging Environmental Studies (Evs) lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. The PRT will play a key role in shaping young minds through hands-on, experiential learning in Lakhimpur Kheri’s diverse landscapes.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive Evs lessons covering topics like biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable practices. Prepare engaging classroom activities using local examples, such as nearby forests or rivers, to illustrate concepts. Maintain organized classroom resources and materials for Evs teaching. Collaborate with students to conduct short field trips or outdoor experiments relevant to the syllabus.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assist in organizing school events like Earth Day celebrations, tree-planting drives, or awareness campaigns. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss Evs curriculum updates and teaching strategies. Work closely with the principal and senior staff to ensure alignment with City International School Juniors’ environmental education goals. Prepare weekly lesson plans that integrate real-world applications of Evs concepts.
Periodic Responsibilities
Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, projects, or group discussions in Evs. Participate in teacher training workshops focused on innovative teaching methods for environmental studies. Ensure compliance with school policies on environmental safety, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on Environmental Studies or related subjects. Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools with a focus on science or environmental education. Possession of TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. A graduate degree in any discipline is required.
