Your role as a PRT Social Science Teacher will shape the way children see history, geography, and civics. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to young learners, using stories, maps, and discussions to make complex ideas simple and memorable. You’ll assess student progress through projects and quizzes, provide feedback to parents during PTMs, and maintain classroom discipline with kindness and firmness. You’ll also participate in school events like Independence Day celebrations and local heritage walks, connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.
We look for someone who loves teaching and enjoys being around children. You should have a graduate degree, preferably in Social Science, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. While TET/CTET certification is not required, it shows your commitment to teaching standards. Most importantly, you should be patient, approachable, and able to explain concepts in a way that resonates with young learners.
Doon Public School offers a monthly salary between Rs.17,000 and Rs.30,000 based on qualifications and experience.
