Role Summary

At Tulas International School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, our TGT English Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of our students. Who You Will Teach

You will be teaching English to students from Classes VI to X, helping them to develop their language skills, literary understanding, and critical thinking abilities. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, and you will be expected to cater to their individual needs and interests while promoting a sense of community and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies for improvement
* Foster a love for English language and literature among students through various teaching methods and resources
* Collaborate with other teachers to design and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
* Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and respect for diversity
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and supportive learning experience
* Stay updated with curriculum developments and educational research to improve teaching practices
* Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote English language and literature
* Contribute to the development of English language and literature resources for the school
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
* Teaching experience of at least 3 years
* Familiarity with the TET and CTET exams is preferred
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

* Experience in teaching English to students from diverse backgrounds
* Knowledge of curriculum developments and educational research
* Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills

Salary and Benefits

As a TGT English Teacher at Tulas International School, you will receive a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
