PRT Dance Teacher Job in Haridwar, Uttarakhand | School Recruitment
Daily Responsibilities
A typical day starts with preparing dance routines and setting up music and props in the school’s studio. You will conduct warm‑up sessions, teach basic steps, and guide students through choreographed sequences, ensuring safety and proper technique. After class, you review students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and update their performance logs for the school’s assessment system.
Recurring Duties
Weekly, you will plan lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and student skill levels, incorporating contemporary and classical dance styles. You will also coordinate with other PRT teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects, such as cultural festivals or school assemblies. Regularly, you maintain the studio’s equipment, manage inventory of dancewear, and ensure the environment remains clean and welcoming.
Periodic Responsibilities
Monthly, you participate in staff meetings to discuss student development and curriculum enhancements. You are expected to organize or assist in school dance performances, competitions, and community outreach events, showcasing student talent. Additionally, you will conduct parent‑teacher interactions to update them on their child’s progress and address any concerns regarding dance education.
Qualifications and Experience
You should hold a graduate degree and possess at least two years of experience teaching dance in a school setting. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, and TET/CTET is preferred. Demonstrated ability to inspire students and adapt choreography to diverse learning needs will be highly valued.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This role is full‑time and based at Sai Sanskar Public School in Hardwar, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
