Job Description
The future of Physics at Eklavya Residential School is interactive and digital. We are seeking a tech-savvy PGT Physics Teacher in Uttarakhand who can move beyond the chalkboard. Senior secondary Physics involves many abstract concepts—such as electromagnetic waves or the behavior of subatomic particles—that are difficult to visualize. The successful candidate will use digital simulations and virtual labs to bring these concepts to life, fostering a sense of wonder and inquiry.
Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
ICT Integration: Utilize smart boards, PhET simulations, and 3D modeling software to demonstrate phenomena like wave interference, diffraction, and magnetic field lines.
Flipped Classroom Management: Implement a flipped classroom model where students engage with video lectures at home, allowing class time to be dedicated to active problem-solving and hands-on experiments.
STEM Projects: Lead the school’s innovation hub. You will guide students in building prototypes, such as drones, simple robots, or solar-powered circuits, which apply the principles of Physics to real-world problems.
Digital Assessment: Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, provide instant digital feedback, and manage paperless assignments.
Science Communication: Encourage students to participate in national-level science fairs, webinars, and innovation contests, representing Eklavya Residential School at the highest level.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Post Graduate
Teaching Experience: 5 (Must be proficient in using educational technology).
TET Required: CTET or State TET is Not Specified
Salary: ₹₹32,000 – ₹₹45,000
