What You Will Do
As PRT Dance Teacher at Divine Child Junior School, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing the Dance curriculum for students from grades 1 to 10.
- Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment in the Dance department.
- Mentoring and guiding junior staff members to ensure the smooth delivery of Dance classes.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Analyzing and interpreting student assessment data to inform Dance teaching practices.
- Preparing and maintaining Dance resources, materials, and equipment.
- Organizing and participating in Dance events, performances, and activities.
- Developing and implementing policies to promote Dance education in the school.
- Contributing to the development of the school's Dance policy and strategy.
- Liaising with parents and guardians to ensure excellent communication and cooperation.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of student progress and assessment.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Dance. A NET or SET qualification is highly desirable, but not essential.
