This role invites a dedicated Dance teacher to join Dev Public School | Basantpur in Janjgir. The position focuses on delivering engaging dance lessons to students, enhancing their artistic skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct dance lessons for classes 6 to 12, aligning with the school curriculum and students’ skill levels.
Develop and execute innovative choreography for school events, cultural programs, and examinations.
Assess students’ progress through regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate dance activities into interdisciplinary projects and school celebrations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring learning environment, ensuring all equipment is well‑kept.
Participate in school committees and parent meetings to discuss student growth and program development.
Stay updated on contemporary dance styles and teaching methodologies to enrich classroom experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Dance or related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of classical and modern dance forms.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Compensation and Location
Salary: Rs.17,000 – Rs.30,000 per month.
