Role Summary
Mothers International School | Upelta in Upleta, Rajkot is looking for a dedicated PGT Business Studies Teacher. The candidate will join a dynamic full‑time faculty team, delivering engaging lessons and fostering analytical thinking among students in grades 9 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver curriculum‑aligned Business Studies lessons that integrate case studies, market analysis and real‑world business scenarios.
Assess student performance through quizzes, projects and examinations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Develop supplementary learning materials, such as worksheets and digital resources, to support diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects that connect Business Studies with Economics, Accounting and Computer Science.
Mentor students in business competitions, entrepreneurship clubs and mock trading sessions, encouraging practical application of concepts.
Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans and assessment reports in accordance with school policy.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops and school events to contribute to a cohesive learning environment.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Business, Economics, Commerce or a related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for teaching roles; TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory.
Knowledge of the latest Business Studies curriculum and assessment standards in Gujarat.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Business Studies or a closely related subject at the secondary level.
Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom and to design interactive learning experiences.
Compensation
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.36,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
