PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at Shannen School in Vadodara
Shannen School in Vadodara is seeking an experienced PGT Business Studies teacher to join their dynamic academic team. The role involves shaping future leaders through engaging business education, blending theory with real-world applications in a supportive learning environment.
Teaching responsibilities will include designing and delivering comprehensive Business Studies lessons across Class 11 and 12, aligning with CBSE syllabus standards. You’ll develop interactive classroom sessions covering core topics like financial management, marketing principles, and entrepreneurship, ensuring students grasp practical business concepts. Curriculum development will also involve updating teaching materials, creating exam-ready resources, and maintaining student progress records. Regular faculty meetings and departmental coordination will help integrate business studies with other subjects, fostering interdisciplinary learning. Assisting in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to business and entrepreneurship will also be part of your role. Maintaining high standards of classroom management, encouraging student participation, and providing constructive feedback are essential to student success.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field is required, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience in Business Studies at the secondary level is preferred, though candidates with relevant academic experience may also be considered. A strong command of English and the ability to explain complex business concepts simply are crucial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with opportunities to grow within a well-respected educational institution in Vadodara.
