PGT Business Studies Teacher Position at Shannen World School in Vadodara
Shannen World School invites experienced educators to join its dynamic team as a PGT Business Studies Teacher. Located in Vadodara, the role offers a chance to shape young minds with a strong foundation in commerce principles while contributing to a progressive educational environment.
To excel in this role, you will design and deliver engaging lessons covering core business concepts such as accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship. Your curriculum must align with the latest school syllabus while encouraging critical thinking and real-world application. You’ll assess student performance through practical projects, case studies, and classroom discussions to ensure deep understanding.
Teaching at Shannen World School means fostering a collaborative classroom where students explore business ethics, financial literacy, and market dynamics. You’ll integrate modern teaching methods, including interactive workshops and guest lectures, to keep lessons relevant and engaging. Mentoring students individually and in groups will help them develop essential skills like decision-making and teamwork.
Collaboration with other faculty members is key, as you’ll participate in planning school-wide business-related activities and competitions. Your role extends beyond the classroom—you’ll represent the school at parent-teacher meetings and industry-related events to strengthen ties with local businesses. Maintaining up-to-date teaching resources and adapting lesson plans based on student feedback will ensure continuous improvement.
Shannen World School seeks a dedicated educator with a postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in commerce or business education, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Vadodara’s vibrant educational landscape.
