PRT Social Science Teacher – Shannen School | Wagodia, Vadodara, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Social Science lessons for PRT sections in line with the state syllabus.
- Prepare age‑appropriate teaching aids, visual charts and activity sheets to reinforce concepts.
- Assess student progress through oral quizzes, classwork and periodic tests, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Coordinate with senior teachers to integrate cross‑subject projects and thematic learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavioural development.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions and field trips related to Social Science topics.
- Keep records of attendance, lesson plans and assessment results as per school policy.
Qualifications
A graduate degree is essential, complemented by a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Candidates who have cleared TET or CTET will be given preference.
Experience
A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Social Science at the primary level is required.
