TGT Social Science Teacher Position at Shannen School | Kapurai, Vadodara
Shannen School | Kapurai in Vadodara is seeking a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join its faculty and inspire students with engaging lessons in history, geography, economics, and political science. This role focuses on designing and delivering curriculum-aligned classes, fostering critical thinking, and helping students explore India’s diverse social and political landscapes through interactive methods.
The teacher will prepare lesson plans, conduct classroom demonstrations, and use multimedia tools to make complex topics accessible. Assisting in school events, organizing field trips, and collaborating with other departments to integrate social science concepts into broader academic programs will also be part of the responsibilities.
To qualify, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in social sciences at the secondary level is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage.
