TGT Social Science Teacher Position at Shannen School, Vadodara
Shannen School on Vip Road seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join its vibrant academic community in Vadodara. This role demands expertise in designing engaging lesson plans that integrate historical, political, economic, and geographical perspectives into curriculum delivery. Your work will shape students’ critical thinking through case studies, debates, and interactive projects, ensuring alignment with Gujarat’s syllabus while fostering analytical skills.
The teacher will oversee daily Social Science classes, including geography, history, and civics, tailoring activities to meet diverse learning needs. Field trips, guest lectures, and collaborative projects with other subject teachers will enhance real-world relevance. Assessment will focus on project-based evaluations, oral presentations, and periodic tests, with a strong emphasis on student participation and reflection.
A postgraduate degree in Social Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. At least two years of teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Your ability to communicate complex concepts simply and motivate students will be pivotal.
