Sainik School | Khara Kheri invites an experienced PGT Botany Teacher to join its esteemed faculty, shaping young minds with a blend of academic excellence and disciplined learning. This is a full-time role in Fatehabad, Haryana, where a dedicated Botany Teacher will guide students through advanced plant science topics while aligning with the school’s commitment to holistic education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans for senior secondary Botany, ensuring alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.
2. Conduct hands-on experiments and practical sessions to enhance students’ understanding of plant biology, genetics, and ecology.
3. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including internal exams, projects, and practical assessments.
4. Collaborate with the science department to integrate interdisciplinary learning, such as connecting botany with environmental studies.
5. Maintain updated laboratory resources and ensure safe, well-organized working conditions for students.
6. Participate in school events, including science fairs and inter-house competitions, to promote scientific curiosity.
7. Guide students in research projects and encourage participation in national-level science competitions.
8. Prepare detailed lesson notes and teaching aids to support classroom instruction and teacher training sessions.
The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is mandatory, with a strong background in Botany pedagogy. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly preferred. Experience in Sainik School’s disciplined environment or similar military-affiliated institutions would be an asset.
