Seeking an experienced Economics teacher for DPS International’s IB DP program in Gurugram
DPS International is looking for a dynamic Economics teacher to join its esteemed IB DP program in Gurugram. The role requires expertise in delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons while fostering critical thinking among students. The ideal candidate will align with DPS’s academic excellence and support the IB DP’s emphasis on interdisciplinary learning.
Plan and deliver Economics lessons aligned with the IB DP curriculum, ensuring depth in macro and microeconomic concepts. Develop and assess student projects, case studies, and presentations to reinforce analytical skills. Collaborate with the IB DP faculty to integrate economic themes across subjects, enhancing cross-curricular engagement.
Teach both theory and applied economics, including real-world case studies and data analysis. Prepare and update lesson plans, resources, and assessment tools to meet IB DP standards. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and the school to address academic and personal growth.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics with at least two years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Experience in teaching IB DP Economics or related subjects is a strong plus. Salary for this full-time position is Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000 per month. The role is based in Gurugram, Haryana.
