About This Role
Ambience Public School, nestled in the heart of Gurugram, seeks a dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to join our team. As an Economics teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students, who come from diverse backgrounds, but share a common desire for academic excellence.
Who You Will Teach
Our students are from a mix of urban and rural backgrounds, with many coming from nearby villages in Gurugram. They are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn. As an Economics teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students from Class 9 to Class 12, and helping them develop a strong foundation in the subject.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Economics to students from Class 9 to Class 12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, ensuring that students meet curriculum requirements
- Engage with parents through regular meetings and progress reports
- Participate in school-wide events and activities, such as economics competitions and fairs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Economics education
Required Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Economics with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed is essential for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared the CTET/TET.
