IbMYP Chemistry Teacher Position at DPS International, Gurugram
DPS International in Gurugram is seeking an experienced IbMYP Chemistry Teacher to join its dynamic curriculum team. This full-time role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in chemistry through the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for hands-on experiments, engaging classroom discussions, and a passion for fostering scientific curiosity in students.
The role requires designing and delivering chemistry lessons aligned with IbMYP standards, ensuring students grasp concepts like atomic structure, chemical reactions, and environmental science. You’ll also collaborate with the science faculty to integrate interdisciplinary learning, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience. Assisting in lab supervision and maintaining safe, well-equipped labs is essential for this position. Additionally, you’ll prepare students for the IB exams while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
A postgraduate degree in Chemistry is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment, is highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is a strong asset. The successful candidate will be based in Gurugram, Haryana, with a competitive salary ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
