About This Role
The Scottish High School is inviting applications for the position of Skating Coach in Gurugram. This is a full-time role requiring experience in coaching skating for school students. The role involves planning, conducting, and supervising skating sessions for different age groups. Candidates must have a strong background in skating and proven coaching experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct regular skating practice sessions for students from Classes 1 to 12.
2. Develop training programs tailored to beginners, intermediate, and advanced skaters.
3. Organize inter-house and inter-school skating competitions at The Scottish High School.
4. Maintain safety standards during all skating activities and ensure proper use of equipment.
5. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
6. Coordinate with the sports department to integrate skating with other physical activities.
7. Ensure maintenance and upkeep of skating rink and related infrastructure.
8. Represent The Scottish High School in external skating events and tournaments.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in any discipline along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in skating coaching. Knowledge of Hindi and English is essential. Basic computer skills including MS Office and email communication are required. Experience in school sports administration will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in ice skating or roller skating techniques for children and adolescents. Ability to design age-appropriate training modules. Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage large groups. Familiarity with sports safety protocols and emergency procedures. Good communication skills to interact with students, parents, and school staff.
What You Get
