Day-to-Day Duties
Supervise a team of drivers, conductors, and cleaners to ensure professional conduct and adherence to safety protocols across all routes. Organize daily duty rosters, attendance tracking, and performance reviews for transport staff at The Scottish High School. Address grievances or delays immediately to maintain trust with parents and students.
Coordinate with the school administration to finalize bus routes, stops, and timings based on student enrollment and traffic conditions in Gurugram. Oversee daily vehicle checks including cleanliness, functioning of GPS devices, and first-aid kits. Ensure all buses meet RTO and school safety standards at all times.
Prepare monthly transport reports on fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance costs, and staff attendance for senior leadership review. Handle emergency situations such as breakdowns or route deviations with quick decision-making and transparent communication. Maintain records of student pick-ups and drop-offs to resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in transport management or logistics in a school or large organization. Prior experience in managing a fleet of vehicles and a team of drivers is mandatory.
Familiarity with road safety regulations, RTO norms, and emergency protocols is essential. Knowledge of local traffic patterns in Gurugram and NCR is preferred for efficient route planning and time management.
