Role Summary
The PGT Geography Teacher will lead senior secondary Geography classes at St. Meera Convent School, Kalayat. Teaching Approach

Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare and upload weekly lesson plans on the school LMS with embedded maps and charts.
Conduct smart board–based demonstrations of landform evolution and monsoon patterns.
Assign Google Classroom homework that includes short answer maps and current-event summaries.
Organize bi-monthly virtual field trips to national parks and glaciers using 360° videos.
Mark digital assignments in the LMS and provide audio feedback for pronunciation of geographical terms.

Coordinate with the Social Science department to plan cross-subject projects on climate change.
Maintain a digital portfolio of student projects to showcase at parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Geography with minimum 50% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Two years of Geography teaching experience in a senior secondary school.
Familiarity with CBSE Geography syllabus for classes XI–XII.
Proficiency in Google Classroom, LMS platforms, and basic GIS tools.
