Collaborate with the geography department to update textbooks, worksheets, and project-based learning activities. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including practical field studies and project submissions. Act as a mentor to junior teachers and support their professional growth in geography education.
Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as the minimum qualification for teaching roles. Possess a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field to ensure expertise in subject matter. Gain practical experience in geography teaching for at least four years, preferably in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for geography education to inspire students effectively.
Compensation
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive monthly salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000, along with additional benefits such as performance-based allowances and opportunities for professional development.
