Job Description
Teaching Hindi at the upper primary level in Saigrace International School means shaping young minds with a focus on language development, cultural heritage, and communication skills through structured lessons and interactive activities.
This role involves designing and delivering engaging Hindi classes for students from classes 6 to 8. You will cover grammar, literature, poetry, and creative writing while aligning curriculum with state education board guidelines. The curriculum includes both classical and modern Hindi texts, ensuring students grasp both linguistic nuances and cultural context. Daily classroom interactions will include group discussions, storytelling sessions, and practical exercises to enhance fluency.
Assessment tasks will include evaluating students’ writing skills through short essays, comprehension tests, and oral presentations. You will also prepare weekly lesson plans, adapting content to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining academic rigor. Regular feedback sessions will help students improve their language proficiency.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Hindi with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of one year of teaching experience in Hindi is required. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
