PRINCIPAL Job in Sonipat, Haryana | School Vacancy
Role Summary
The PRINCIPAL is the academic and administrative head of Gd Goenka International School, Sonipat. This position carries full responsibility for school operations, policy implementation, and community relations. The role ensures academic excellence while fostering a safe, progressive learning environment for students and staff alike.
What You Will Do
Lead the strategic vision of Gd Goenka International School, aligning policies with CBSE and state norms.
Oversee daily school functioning, including timetables, examinations, and compliance audits.
Manage staff recruitment, appraisal, and professional development across departments.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infrastructure standards, and emergency preparedness.
Engage with parents, alumni, and local authorities to strengthen school reputation.
Coordinate extracurricular programs, sports, and cultural events at the school level.
Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
Drive digital initiatives, including ERP integration and parent communication systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree with minimum 10 years of school leadership experience.
B.Ed/D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
Prior experience as a Vice-Principal or Head of School in CBSE-affiliated institutions.
Must have handled CBSE affiliation, inspections, and documentation processes.
Good to Have
Experience in international school settings or multi-campus operations.
Knowledge of NEP 2020 implementation frameworks.
Trained in school administration, finance, or educational leadership programs.
