Shiva International Residential School

Shiva International Residential School sits on a leafy 15‑acre hillside in Chandpur, just outside Bilha in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. The surrounding pine‑clad slopes give the campus a quiet, almost secluded feel, while the nearby town provides a friendly community where families and teachers often meet at local markets and festivals. The school’s day‑cum‑boarding model means younger children can travel from home each morning, and from class 5 onward students can stay in modern hostel blocks that overlook the valley, giving them a safe and comfortable base for study and play.

Since its founding in 2024, Shiva International Residential School has been affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, offering a curriculum that runs from Nursery through to the 10th grade. Classrooms are purpose‑built and equipped with interactive boards, while the science, mathematics, geography and computer labs are designed for hands‑on experimentation. The AI and robotics labs are a particular draw, allowing students to explore emerging technologies under the guidance of teachers who hold advanced degrees and bring experience from both Indian and international schools. The learning environment is lively yet disciplined, with small class sizes that let teachers notice each child’s strengths and challenges.

Beyond academics, the campus boasts a multi‑purpose indoor sports hall, synthetic tennis and basketball courts, a natural‑turf football field and the district’s first indoor shooting range. A 150 kW solar plant supplies part of the school’s power, underscoring a commitment to sustainability that is woven into daily life. With its blend of strong faculty, well‑rounded facilities and a setting that encourages both focus and recreation, Shiva International Residential School offers a balanced education that prepares students for the next steps in their academic journey.
