Oversee a team of junior dance instructors and volunteers, assigning practice schedules and monitoring discipline during rehearsals. Ensure safety protocols are followed during high-energy group performances and external stage events. Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange sound systems, lighting, and props for performances in Laukaha and other nearby locations.
Develop annual budgets for costumes, props, and external choreographer sessions. Submit purchase requests to the administration and track expenditures within allocated funds. Liaise with parents during costume fittings and dress rehearsals, addressing concerns promptly to maintain smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Performing Arts, Dance, or related field from a recognized university. Minimum three years of experience in dance instruction, preferably in school or community settings. Prior experience in staff supervision or event coordination is preferred.
Familiarity with traditional Bhojpuri and Maithili dance forms is an advantage. Ability to teach diverse dance styles such as classical, folk, and contemporary to students of varying skill levels. Knowledge of safety norms during large group performances will be considered during selection.
