Qualifications
Graduate degree required, preferably in Music or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential for administrative compliance. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum three years in a school environment handling music programs, event coordination, or curriculum development.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all music-related activities across the school calendar, including concerts, competitions, and cultural events. Oversee procurement of instruments, maintenance of equipment, and budget management for the music department.
Collaborate with school leadership to integrate music into school culture, ensuring alignment with overall educational goals. Develop partnerships with local music institutions, artists, and community groups to enrich student exposure.
Manage scheduling, logistics, and promotion of performances, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of instruments, supplies, and event outcomes for reporting purposes.
Skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with experience in project management and event planning. Excellent communication skills to liaise with faculty, parents, and external stakeholders. Proficiency in budgeting, vendor negotiation, and resource allocation.
Compensation
Rs.25,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
